Savanna's class was finally able to go on their field trip to the "farm." It is really just a farm supply store that offers educational programs. This was my favorite field trip from my teaching days so I was excited to go and the snow didn't stop us this day. Both of the girls enjoyed attempting to churn the butter. Not enough hours or manpower to produce the actual thing though. Savanna fed a "kid", the baby goat and a calf then milked a big cow all by herself. What a fun experience for us all! Sadie even had a conversation with Oreo, the calf. She wouldn't let me put her down but she didn't hesitate to "moo" at him. He even mooed back.
