This morning Savanna starts telling me about her wedding day. I wonder where she gets these ideas! She has thought of many details though. She is going to wear mommy's wedding shoes and her dress up veil (a fun veil I wore to my bachelorette party). Her dress is going to be purple, not pink, can you believe it? It will be short sleeves like Ariel and she will carry beautiful purple flowers. She plans to get married where mommy and daddy got married. For those of you who don't know, that is in Lexington at First United Methodist Church. Her plan is to marry Gavin but not to change her last name, only her first name. How did she even know about changing her name? She would like to name herself Aaliyah or Aubrey (those are friends of hers in Burlington). I told her she should learn how to spell those names if she is going to be called that. She said she would just tell people. I guess spelling is up to them!
For the honeymoon.....you guessed it- Disney World. They are going to meet the characters and work. Doesn't exactly sound like my kind of honeymoon but I guess she will learn about all the other stuff later......MUCH LATER! After the honeymoon the plan is to move back in with mommy and daddy. We'll see about that!
We don't have a date yet but make plans to attend in about 20 years. We hope to see you all there!
