Sisters

Savanna loves her little sister! She is constantly in her face talking baby talk to her and telling her she loves her. It is just precious to witness!! We are still working on sharing toys but as long as no fights break out we are content with the way things are right now. Savanna was telling someone about her sister today and she said "she (Sadie) means a lot to me." I could have cried but instead I grinned from ear to ear.
Poor Abby!

Abby had to have surgery on her ear thanks to a busted blood vessel. Oh boy! The collar that she wears has been hazardous to all of us including Abby. She is still running into things and us. Poor Sadie got taken out last week. She is fine though! Only one more week of the collar. It is getting beyond amusing now and just annoying for all of us. Abby is a tough cookie though because she handles it all like a champ without complaint.

6 months old

Now that Sadie is 6 months old she is doing all kinds of new things. We can now request a high chair at restaurants although we have learned not to sit her where the waitress stands. This particular trip she came home smelling like beer! We also use the shopping carts at stores but that is quite a sight. She is so little that sometimes we get funny looks but she sure likes being able to sit up and see everything that is going on!
The last snow (We hope!)

This, hopefully the last before spring arrives, was a deep snow. Daddy got to go in late to work so he and Savanna played in the snow a little. They were unsuccessful at building a snowman but had a fun snowball fight and made some beautiful snow angels! Savanna is quite interested in helping in the kitchen so she took charge of making yummy snow cream. I hadn't done this since I was little so it was a lot of fun. We even saved some for daddy when he came home from work.
Happy Birthday Uncle Nathan!

We travelled to Raleigh for our semi-annual Sushi dinner with Nathan and Amanda. Savanna almost tried some but when it came down to it she chickened out. She had already eaten a couple of pieces of squid so we will give her an A+ for trying new things. The girls had a chance to play with everyone else before we headed to Raleigh.
Visiting Uncle Forrest

The girls and I took a day trip to Fayetteville to visit Forrest. It was not a bad trip down and then we had a beautiful day to hang out downtown. We had lunch then headed to the children's museum to play. I think the most fun was had at a nearby fountain where Savanna and Forrest played while Sadie napped.
