Playing in the creek

At Easter Forrest took Savanna and our cousin John into the creek across from my parent's house. This is the same creek we used to play in when I was little. They looked for crawdads and anything else they could find. No creatures were discovered but they had a good time walking across the rocks and through the tunnel under the street. Savanna will do anything those big boys do! The surprising part is that no one came out wet!

Going on an Egg Hunt

We met Kelly and her boys at the park for some Easter fun! There were inflatables, plastic eggs, and lots of games. Neither of the big kids were excited about the Easter bunny. Sadie and mommy had their pictures made with him though. Savanna made a new friend, whose name I have already forgotten, but the girls had a blast playing together! Savanna and Gavin collected quite a few eggs to exchange for a goody bag of Easter treasures. It was a beautiful day for fun with friends!

Casino Night

Noah and I had a much needed night out. We spent the evening at the Burlington Junior Woman's Club fundraiser---Diamond Jubilee. We had a great time bidding on silent auction items, dancing, and working the poker table. All in the name of philanthropy!

Bunny Day

The girls and I enjoyed a fun time with Nana and Poppy learning about all kinds of bunnies. The Natural Science Center in Greensboro hosted the day filled with everything bunny. We got to touch bunnies of all kinds and sizes while also exploring the exhibits inside. It was a rainy day but this was a fun alternative to our original plans to watch the spring football game in Chapel Hill.
