I think the most important thing a parent can do for their children is love them and show them how to love. Tonight I got a reminder of success! Savanna and Sadie were playing in the bathtub and just out of the blue they hug each other. Most of the time they truly enjoy playing together. Sadie thinks her big sister is the best thing since sliced bread. It was like the other day when we were getting ready for bed and Sadie walked over to Savanna and gave her a hug.......the kind with the baby's arm around the neck and head on her sister's shoulder.
Then after we say our prayers at night both girls MUST give Abby, the dog, a good night hug and/or kiss. Gross, I know, but it is the cutest thing.....cute enough to overlook the gross factor! LOVING and KIND are the character traits we hope to instill in our children and it melts my heart to see it in action!
