We made our first trip to the dog park yesterday. Savanna has been asking but I knew it would take 2 of us to keep an eye on all 3 girls. We aren't sure who was happier to be there, Savanna or Abby! Abby even left a little welcome gift on the sidewalk as you walk up to the fence. Thank goodness for plastic bags! Savanna and Sadie followed dogs around to pet or play with them then Savanna met another little girl to play with. Sadie got knocked down a few times but hopped up and went back to it after a little love from mommy. Abby played a little and sniffed a lot but seemed to enjoy her solitude around the large area of the park. She would come over and check on her girls every once in a while and then go back to checking things out. Savanna knew the names of most of the dogs before we left but I am sure we will be back. She did ask if the little girl would be there next time.
